Pro Silva announces the engagement of Anne Crespin as coordinator of the association, marking an important step in strengthening and structuring its work in support of close-to-nature forestry. - Since its foundation in 1989, Pro Silva has relied on the commitment of volunteers across its network. The engagement of a coordinator represents a key milestone towards consolidating these efforts.
As coordinator, Anne will support the exchange of practice based knowledge and contribute to the promotion of close to nature forestry among forest professionals, policymakers and other stakeholders, demonstrating that this approach can successfully combine resilience, economic viability and societal benefits. With this step, Pro Silva reaffirms its ambition to see close-to-nature forestry according to Pro Silva principles recognised as a successful economic, social and environmental approach to forest management.
